Boys Score: Snohomish 73; Monroe 62; Lake 46
Girls Score: Lake 115; Snohomish 55, Monroe 19
On a wonderful sunny day at Snohomish Stadium the boys team continued to show improvements through their young team and the girls finished off the league season a perfect 6-0 defeating Snohomish for the second time this season. The Vikings were lead by the great performances Jessica Hinton, Brandie Edwards, Mallory Laplante and a host of others. On the boys side the throwers continue to carry the day for the Vikings scoring 26 of the 46 total points. On the girls side despite her blocks slipping and almost falling down, Sophomore Brandie Edwards ran 15.4 in the 100 hurdles for the win. Fellow Viking, Mallory Laplante broke her own Discus school record with a throw of 129-10 and outdistanced her freshman counterpart Brittany Aanstad in the Javelin by 1" 113'8" to 113'7". Aanstad also broke the freshman record in the Pole Vault going 9'0". The freshman record in the Javelin of 118'10" is now well within reach for Aanstad as is the freshman and school record in the high jump.
