ANNOUNCEMENT:
It’s time to party! We need about 30 chaperones for the senior all-night party on June 9th. Chaperones will be on duty right after graduation (approximately 10:00 p.m.) Tuesday night until Wednesday morning at approximately 6:30 a.m. If you cannot attend the entire evening we may be able to split the chaperone shifts, so don’t let the “all-night” aspect of this event prevent you from being part of the fun.
Generally speaking, the chaperones are expected to keep a watchful eye on the seniors and provide overall supervision. Chaperones should be responsible adults who are willing to hold the kids accountable for their actions and are ready to step in if they see inappropriate behavior. Chaperones are there to make this a wonderful night for the seniors, bringing a great attitude to pump up the kids. Some chaperones will ride the buses, some will drive on their own, some will be blackjack dealers, and some will help monitor the venue exits (official security will be provided by Grad Nights). Chaperones are included in the food and beverage service, so you will be well taken care of with lots of coffee!
If you would like to chaperone, please come to the chaperone meeting next Monday, May 18th, at 7:00 p.m. in the LSHS Library. At the meeting we will discuss the party and chaperone duties in more detail.
