Driver's Education is a program run through the school and taught by teachers at Lake Stevens High School. They teach your child the rules of the road and everything to pass the test at the Department of Licensing and get your license.

What you need to take the class:
  • A valid Washington State Permit

  • $400 (you can pay in increments. But, requires a $200 down payment) Summer Session varies from the school year pricing

  • All of your paperwork turned in to the office

  • If attending summer session, please download revised traffic summer schedule. We offer a class from 8:00 am to 10:00 and another from 10:00 to noon

  • Written tests will be on Fridays after school in portable #17. Cost is $30.00 for students who took the class at LSHS and $40.00 for students who took the classes elsewhere or are 18 and are needing to just take the test. The cost covers 2 attempts at each test. Here are the new testing policies.
