FCCLA and National Honor Society’s annual food drive continues through Tuesday, November 24th. This is a competition among 1st period classes! The class that brings in the most canned food will receive a free continental breakfast. Make sure you bring in lots of canned food and support the Lake Stevens community.
Junior class - Want to start saving money for your all night graduation party following your graduation in June of 2011? Sell Heavenly Scents Candles and receive money for your grad night party- come to the class of 2011 table at all three lunches on Thursday and Friday November 19th and 20th to get order forms and get started on your senior year. A $100 gas card will go to the highest seller and there will be other incentives.
The deadline for purchasing an annual is fast approaching! You have until Thursday, December 10th to purchase one guaranteeing you a copy in the spring when they are distributed. Cost is $60.00 – No waiting lists or partial payments will be accepted.
Registration for the winter session of driver's education has now started. You can pick up registration packets or get questions answered in the main office, portable # 7 or portable # 17. The start date is November 30th and the cost is $375 with a minimum down payment of $100. You must be at least 15 years old by December 8th.

The Princeton Prize in Race Relations award application is now available- In order to recognize, support, and encourage the young people of our country who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the cause of positive race relations, Princeton University annually sponsors an annual awards program for high school students- If you are a high school student involved in an activity that is helping to improve race relations in your school or community, check out this opportunity. Americorp - Stilly-Snohomish Fisheries Enhancement Task Force needs volunteers Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 2 pm: Dec 5th Union Slough planting party in Everett. Must RSVP to Abby Kuranz 425-252-6686 if you are interested and plan on volunteering. If you want to receive community service hours you must pick up waiver and contract from Judy Tupen in the Career Center.
