SENIORS – the deadline for ads for the yearbook has been extended. They are now due Thursday December 10th to Mr. Unckles. Questions? Please contact Mr. Unckles in
Room 302 or you are welcome to leave him a note in his mailbox located in the Main Office.

Lost and Found clothing is piling up! If unclaimed by next Tuesday, November 10th, all items will be donated!

Registration for the winter session of driver's education has now started. You can pick up registration packets or get questions answered in the main office, portable # 7 or portable # 17. The start date is November 30th and the cost is $375 with a minimum down payment of $100. You must be at least 15 years old by December 8th.

Do you like to talk? Communication partners are needed for students in the Structured Learning Center. Learn how to use a speech generating device and make a new friend! Community Service hours are available. Sign up in Room 410 in the library.

Students interested in being a mentor for the Cavelero shadow program can pick up an application in the Main Office.

Attention All Students – You are reminded that the deadline for purchasing an annual is Thursday, December 10, 2009 which will guarantee you an annual in the spring. Cost for an annual is $65.00 cash or check only.

You are reminded that the gravel lot will not be available as soon as the stadium construction begins. You will need to find alternate parking –NOT IN THE STAFF LOT as these places are assigned and you will be ticketed if you park there.

 

 

Career Center Information

Seniors - scholarship applications are now available in the Career Center. Continue to check for any new ones! Also, remember to set up a time for a coffee talk for information on financial aid, choosing a school right for you, and get your questions answered about your life after high school choices.

Juniors and Seniors- College representatives are scheduling their visits to LSHS, so be sure to check the list outside the Career Center. You must have permission of the teacher for the period you will miss.

Interested in attending Princeton? There will be an informational meeting for juniors, seniors and their parents on Wednesday, November 4th, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Marriott Seattle Waterfront, 2100 Alaskan Way. The session will touch on academic programs and campus life, as well as outline the process of applying for admission and financial aid. Community Service Information

Senior Center is looking for volunteers to earn community service at their Thanksgiving feed on November 20th at the Grange from 11:15am - 1:30pm. Contact Audrey Kellerman at 360-568-9477.

Americorp - Stilly-Snohomish Fisheries Enhancement Task Force needs volunteers Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 2 pm: Nov 7th Willow Creek planting party in Edmonds; Nov 14th Jetty Island in Everett; Dec 5th Union Slough planting party in Everett. Must RSVP to Abby Kuranz 425-252-6686 if you are interested and plan on volunteering. If you want to receive community service hours you must pick up waiver and contract from Judy Tupen in the Career Center.
