Graduation Requirements

• English - 3.5 credits including English 9, and English 10;
• Mathematics - 2 credits;
• Science - 2 credits;
• Social Studies - 3 credits including Global Studies, U.S. History 1-2, Contemporary American Issues, and Contemporary World Issues;
• Physical Education - 1.5 credits;
• Health - .5 credit;
• Occupational - 1.5 credits;
• Fine Arts - 1 credit;
• General Electives - 7.5 credits.

-Total credits required = 22.5

Other school and state requirements

• 22.5 credits in required curricular areas
• Pass reading and writing WASL*
• Pass the math WASL^

*Students must pass the reading and writing portion of the WASL or an approved alternative such as a Collection of Evidence or meeting SAT or ACT cut score established by the state

Students must pass the math WASL or a state approved alternative such as Collection of Evidence or meeting SAT or ACT cut score established by the state. As a result of new legislation students who have not met standard on the math WASL must continually be enrolled in a math course and continue taking the math WASL until they graduate.
