What is Peachjar you ask? Well, it's not what you might think! As part of our efforts to embrace innovative technology, be more environmentally-friendly, and maintain fiscal responsibility, we have transitioned from paper to electronic flyer delivery via Peachjar. This will include both school, PTA, and community flyers. If you don't receive the Peachjar emails, please contact our school office for assistance in joining!
Come one, come all! Highland Games is provided by our amazing PTA volunteers. Each grade level has a chance to experience fun games and activities on this day! Volunteers are always needed. Please call the front office if you're interested in helping out on this day!
This is a tradition we do here at Highland each year. It's a ceremony to celebrate our wonderful fifth graders who will be moving on to middle school. Families and friends are invited to our gym to celebrate these amazing students. The ceremony begins at 9:30 am. See you there!
The last day is a 12:30 dismissal. AM Kindergartners will attend, but there will be no PM Kindergarten. End-of-year report cards will go home on this day!

Make sure your child is registered for kindergarten by Monday May 23rd in order to make them eligible for an exciting event coming in June! Look for more information arriving in your mailbox between May 24th -27th once you have registered!
Thank you to parent Brent Radford and his team at Epic Endeavors. Over the course of several specific weeks, he and his team will be here to work with interested students utilizing a variety of sports with the focus on sportsmanship and skill development in connection with our 7 Habits. Epic Endeavors is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting positive youth development through athletic instruction. Parents and WatchDOGS are invited to participate from 11:30-1:15 during the following weeks that the Epic Team will be here: Friday May 6: Intro to football May 9-13: Full week of flag football, Friday May 20: Whiffleball/Baseball May 23-27, Friday June 3: Kickball June 6-10
All fifth graders have been learning to play the ukulele during class time. What about learning to play this fabulous instrument at a higher level? Come and join a group of students who would like to learn, have fun, and perform together later in the spring!
Are you a 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader who is interested in problem-solving? Do you like to improve something over and over? Then this club is for you. Learn to solve the Rubiks Cube- and do it as fast as you can. There are even competitions you can get into! Meet in Mrs. Erickson's room (11) on Tuesdays from 8:00-8:30 am. January 12th is the first meeting of the school year.
