Science is FUN, and EVERYONE can do science! The Science Fair will be on June 11th in the Highland Common's from 5:30-7:30 PM. It is not formally judged. Every child that participates will receive a special charm. Parents who encourage curiosity help their children make a difference in the world! Click for more information and registration form.
Click the above link to access IXL Math. This is the on-line math program that EVERY Highland student has an account for. This means that our students can practice math at their grade level by state standard here at school and at home! Talk with your child's teacher if you do not have your child's username and password.
Come join Ms. Davis and become a member of our Highland Jump Rope Team! Practice begins each Monday morning at 8:00 am in the Highland gym. Looking forward to seeing you come out to sharpen the saw and improve your jump roping skills!
Highland Elementary now has a running team!! The team meets every Friday @ 7:45 am. All are welcome! Please dress appropriately for the weather :) FUN FACT: As of March 27th, our Highland Running Team has run 4,875 miles collectively so far this year! Wow, way to synergize team!
We are looking for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders interested in learning how to master the Rubiks Cube! At the very least, we want to get a group together to have some fun with learning about it. There is also a local competition at the end of May which the team may compete in! Hope you can make it Tuesday mornings!
